Paula has been involved in sport since her childhood, primarily as a swimmer where she swam to National Level in her late teens. As Club Captain for her team Rushmoor Royals she mentored her younger team-mates. From there she qualified as a swim teacher passing on her skills and knowledge to younger competitors.
Her drive and passion for sport led her to compete in biathlons where she was ranked second nationally, marathon running, then onto triathlon.
As a triathlete Paula has represented GB as part of the Age Group Team at European and World Championships since 2005. She is a 3 x Ironman finisher and Kona Qualifier.
Paula loves to compete but also gets great joy from helping others succeed and achieve their goals. It is this desire to guide and help other athletes that led her to qualify as a Level 3 BTF Triathlon Coach. She works closely with her athletes using her extensive athletic experience, her knowledge as a coach and her Neuro Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner qualification to help them get the best of themselves.
Paula is passionate about the quality of coaching within triathlon and forms part of the BTF Tutoring Staff for Coach Education and has recently gained her Level 3 Mentoring in Sport qualification under the BTF coach development initiative.
